If I don’t pass a subject on the Wyoming GED exam, can I retake it?

For each subject, you can retake it up to 2 times without having to wait. For the fourth attempt, you have to wait 60 days. You have an unlimited number of retakes per year. 

Can I take the Wyoming GED exam online?

There will be an Online Proctored (OP) GED test option starting on September 1st, 2021, so you can take your GED test remotely (online).

What age must I be to take the Wyoming GED exam?

In Wyoming, you must be at least 18 years old to take the GED exam. 

If you are 17 years old, you must submit a completed Age Waiver Application to request a waiver from the minimum age requirement.

If you are 16 years old, you must submit a completed Age Waiver Application to request a waiver from the minimum age requirement. You must also provide a written statement of support from a parent, legal guardian, an ABE instructor, or a GED examiner, indicating the extenuating circumstances.
